When either biomass or fossil fuels are burned, carbon dioxide gas (CO2) is emitted into the atmosphere, a greenhouse gas. Another reason that biomass is better than natural gas is that the carbon fuel content is low because it consumes the extracted carbon dioxide from the surroundingto absorbs it in its tissues. So, when it is regenerated, the amount of carbon dioxide it absorbs during photosynthesis is the same, and the cycle is carbon neutral. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Leave an answerLeave an answerCancel reply Attachment Select file Browse Featured image Select file Browse Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
